Effects Artists, New Machine Studios, Calgary Alberta. - Current

At New Machine Studios I am the only Effects Artist, I am responsible for prioritizing effects shots and developing effects tools that I use to animate effects and implement them into the shots. I have to be able to multitask effects shots to get lots of feed back early on in the process. I work with Maya's nCloth, particles, dynamics, fluids, paintFX and mel scripting.

Animation Intern, New Machine Studios, Calgary Alberta.

I did an internship at New Machine Studios as an animator. I was responsible for completing twenty to thirty seconds of character animation per week on Raven Tales.

Crew Leader Town of Watson Lake (Signpost Forest restoration)

I was the crew leader on a small restoration project involving three other crew members. Our crew was responsible for light construction, landscaping, heavy lifting and equipment operating. As the crew leader of the project I responsible for organizing the crew, equipment, tools and other resources necessary to keep the project on task. The project was completed on time and under budget.

Supervisor / Technician Northern Lights Centre, Watson Lake YT.

During the summers of 2004-2006 I took on more duties at the Northern Lights Centre. Along with my previous responsibilities I was also required to handle daily cash outs and deposits, help with administration and inventory of the centre, and be available on call in case there was a technical issue with the theater.
